Northland Region Chairman Candidates

Andrea Boeh, ABR

Reece & Nichols Tuileries

Why do you want to serve as a KCRAR Director?

It would be an honor to serve as the Northland Region KCRAR Director and further the awesome work that the past directors have started. I think we have made excellent strides to increase RPAC awareness, REALTOR® and affiliate networking and education.

What has been your past service and/or participation in the REALTOR® organization?

I have been on several committees for KCRAR, including Northland Idols I, III & IV and the Bowling Tournament.

What has been your leadership experience in the real estate business, or other community, civic, religious or other business organizations?

My leadership in the REALTOR® world has included Secretary of WCR, President's Council for Reece & Nichols, and IT/Technology Ambassador for the office. Outside of real estate, I am honored to be a part of the education committee at my church, serving as VBS director for 6 years & staff-parish relations committee. Last year, I helped organize a community fundraiser where we raised over $20,000 in honor of two members of our congregation in support of three organizations near and dear to their hearts: Synergy Services, Northland Health Care Access & Midwest Foster Care & Adoption Association. I am hoping that my background will help continue the progress of the Northland Region of KCRAR.

Why do you want to serve as a KCRAR Director?

I have chosen to run for Northland Regional Chair and Director to the KCRAR Board of Directors because the quality of our association is a direct reflection on us as individual professionals. We have been fortunate to have been served by excellent and dedicated professionals in the past, so I would like to continue their work and build on their efforts in increasing professional networking, education, and RPAC awareness. I also believe it is important to have this position held by a full-time professional and one that can effectively represent the Northland to the other regions and on the Board of Directors.

What has been your past service and/or participation in the REALTOR® organization?

I currently serve on KCRAR and MAR Professional Standards and Government Affairs committees. I also serve on MAR's Board of Directors. I had the honor of completing MAR's 2007 Leadership Academy, thanks to the support of KCRAR.

What has been your leadership experience in the real estate business, or other community, civic, religious or other business organizations?

Outside of the real estate community, I have served twice as President of Clay-Platte Children's House Parent Teacher Organization, Past President of LV Homeowners Association, served on the Board of Directors for the Kansas City Russian Community Center, and as vice-president of St. James Orthodox Parish.

At-large Director Candidates

Fran Cashion

Prudential Kansas City Realty

I would like to serve as a member of the KCRAR Board of Directors for two reasons:

First, I love working with REALTORS® and have a passion for our business! Change can be both exciting and stimulating, and I appreciate the opportunity to confront the many issues facing us in the future with a group of respected peers. Our membership continues to look to us for support as they struggle through Foreclosures, Short Sales, new appraisal and lending rules, skittish buyers and unhappy sellers.

Second, my position as Director of Relocation at Prudential Kansas City affords me the opportunity to interact with agents on a daily basis and help them find solutions to the many challenges they face every day. We have to be an active Board working for the smallest to the largest companies to help them achieve their goals, whether it be assistance with legislation, education, technology, etc.

My experience with KCRAR has been as 2009 Chairperson of the Governmental Affairs Committee, Professional Standards, and the more recent Task Forces for both HERA and Rentals/Property Management. I am also a CE Instructor in both Missouri and Kansas. It has also been my pleasure to offer an Italian Dinner for 8 at our annual Sunflower Region RPAC auction and I have entertained many of my fellow REALTORS® around my dining room table.

I serve as one of 15 members of the Prudential Relocation National Advisory Council and I am a member of the Relocation Directors Council. On the personal side, I am an active member of Church of the Nativity, serving most recently as President of the Women of Nativity.

It would be a privilege to serve on the KCRAR Board of Directors in an effort to give back to the industry that has given me so much satisfaction.
