Your requirement for ethics training:

A four-year period during which members were required to complete Code of Ethics training ended on December 31, 2008.  The next four-year period, 2009-2012, will end December 31, 2012. This training is mandated by the National Association of REATLORS® every four years that you are a REALTOR®.

If you missed the December 31, 2008 deadline, then KCRAR has been required to suspend your membership to KCRAR until you have completed this mandate. While your membership is suspended you will not have access to any member services such as MLS, contracts and forms, classes or lockboxes.

Suspension will be lifted when the training requirement is met during the months of January and February 2009.  But failure to complete the requirement by March 1, 2009 will result in automatic membership termination.  This is a National Association of REALTORS® requirement.

You can check your personal REALTOR® records to see whether or not you've taken the training.  To find out how, click here.
